Timesēkr Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Timesēkr's beta program and describes how Timesēkr collects, uses, and protects personal information, including Google Calendar data, during development and beta testing.

Effective Date: 01/30/2026

Last Updated: 04/20/2026

1. Introduction

Timesēkr is a scheduling and availability-coordination service. This Privacy Policy explains how Timesēkr handles personal information and calendar data while the service is in beta. Timesēkr is responsible for the processing described in this policy.

2. Personal Information and Calendar Data We Collect

Account data: We may collect your email address, name, profile information, and account identifiers needed for authentication and account operation.

Google Calendar data and other calendar data: When you authorize a calendar connection, Timesēkr accesses free/busy availability and limited event metadata needed to provide scheduling functionality. This may include Google Calendar free/busy information and limited event metadata such as event titles. Event titles are used only for internal processing, are visible only to the calendar owner, and are not shown to organizers or other participants.

Timesēkr does not access or store event descriptions, message bodies, attachments, or full attendee lists for calendar events. Other users see only abstract availability signals, such as busy or available, not the details of your calendar events.

Technical and support data: We may collect logs, performance metrics, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP if logged, and support communications you send to us.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Timesēkr uses Google user data only to provide user-facing scheduling features requested by the user. Specifically, Google Calendar data is used to read availability, help identify workable meeting times, and support meeting coordination features.

Timesēkr does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide and secure the Timesēkr service, comply with law, or protect users.

4. Calendar Tokens and Security

Calendar access tokens are stored using secure vault mechanisms and are used only to fetch availability and provide authorized calendar functionality. We apply access controls and encryption in transit and at rest where applicable.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained until you request deletion, after which we delete or de-identify it within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Calendar availability data is retained only as needed to provide the service and is deleted within 24 hours.
  • Calendar tokens are deleted upon disconnect or revocation and in any event within 7 days.
  • Technical logs and performance metrics are retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or de-identified unless required by law.

6. User Controls and Revocation

You may disconnect a calendar, revoke Google Calendar access from your Google Account permissions page, request deletion of your test account, or request removal of access tokens by contacting us. To submit a privacy request, email privacy@timesekr.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

Timesēkr may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. We will update the Last Updated date above and may notify beta users by email or in-product notice for material changes.
